CONSULTATION SERVICES

McMillan Consulting provides consultation services to public sector unions, primarily teacher and support staff unions in a variety of areas, including Collective Bargaining, Organizing, Member Advocacy and Labor Management Relations.

COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS

McMillan Consulting provides consulting expertise to assist  local associations in negotiating contract agreements. McMillan Consulting has expertise in traditional bargaining or more collaborative models.  McMillan Consulting will assist in the preparation of proposals, presentation of the proposals and assist in conducting negotiations.  

McMillan Consulting also assists the Association with any mutually agreed upon dispute resolution processes, including mediation and fact finding.

In addition, McMillan Consulting will assist in collaboration between union and management and work to foster a positive relationship that meets the needs of the Association. 

ORGANIZING AND MEMBER ADVOCACY

McMillan Consulting provides  general assistance to the local association on organizing as well as individual labor relation matters involving the local association members, as directed by and coordinated through the local association President. In addition, McMillan Consulting assists members through the grievance process as well as representing the local association members at termination and non-renewal proceedings and will coordinate representation with legal counsel for the local association members as required.
